The Benefits of Chiropractic Care during Pregnancy

If you are looking for supportive, natural care for your body during pregnancy and to have a comfortable birth, chiropractic care is the way to go!
I recently discovered the benefits of going to a chiropractor during pregnancy. At 12 weeks pregnant, I started having horrible pelvic pains at night. I was having a hard time trying to sleep and getting out of bed in the morning was the worst pain I had ever experienced. A close friend of mine told me all about going to the chiropractor and how it really helped her throughout her pregnancy. I was willing to give anything a try to help with my pain. Not only was my pain finally relieved, I learned all the great benefits chiropractic care has to offer!

Chiropractic Care During Pregnancy Helps:
  • Maintain a Healthier Pregnancy
  • Manage Symptoms such as Nausea, Heartburn and Indigestion.
  • Relieve Back, Neck and Joint Pain.
  • Reduces the Chances of Cesarean
  • Reduces the Chances of Vacuum and Forceps Delivery
  • Reduces the Likelihood of Shoulder Dystocia
  • Promotes Easier Breathing by Allowing the Ribcage to Move Freely
  • Allows Mother and Baby More Comfort

Chiropractic Care During Delivery Helps Ease Mother's Pain and Length of Labor.

Chiropractic is a natural approach to life and health which helps the mother gain trust in her body's own ability to accomplish this incredible innate unfoldment!
Chiropractors work specifically with your pelvis throughout pregnancy, restoring state of balance and creating an environment for an easier, quicker, safer delivery!

Pregnancy and Birth Need Our Respect, Not Intervention.

What to Pack a Toddler for Camping!

Every year our family takes a camping trip. Last year our son was just a baby and didn't need as much as he does now. This was our first time camping with a toddler and like always, I wanted to be prepared! This is a packing list of things I thought we would need during our 3 day trip, strictly for my toddler.

Almost everywhere I go, I always have a general medicine/first aid kit with me packed in a small wet bag. For the most part it contains: Boogie Wipes, Diaper/First aid cream, thermometer, Nasal Aspirator, Children's Tylenoand Band-Aids (not pictured)

With some extras added for camping, such as: Bug Spray, Sunscreen, Anti Itch gel (for bug bites)

Clothing:
Based on how the weather will be, depends on what to pack. For our trip, we packed for cold weather. My toddler's bag contained:
2 Pairs of Jeans, 2 pairs of Sweat Pants, 3 Long Sleeve Onesie's, 4 Long Sleeve Shirts, 3 Pairs of Fleece PJs, 3 Pairs of Socks, 2 Jackets, 1 Light Jacket, 2 Pairs of Play Shoes, 2 Hats, Diapers (or Undies) Wipes, Two Wet Bags (for dirty clothing)

Toys:
These were a must for us.
Dump Truck, Shovel & Pail, a Few Small Cars and Trucks, Bubbles and a Kid Flash Light.
We also made a scavenger hunt game to bring with us.

Some Other Things I Recommend:
These I did Not Bring but are suggestions
.
Stroller: Strollers can take up a lot of space in your car but if you plan to take long hikes or activities, may be good to bring along if your toddler gets tired.
Baby Carrier: Another option to bring along rather than a stroller.
Kid Play Tent: a small fold down or pop up tent for your toddler to play in.
Kid Chair: So they have their own chair to sit in.

27 Weeks of Pregnancy

Week 27!

Baby is the size of cauliflower!
Little man has started getting the hiccups this week, especially at night. Which is so adorable!
I have noticed it is getting harder to sleep at night, I just cant seem to get comfortable. I find myself breathing more heavy or trying to catch my breath if I lay a certain way. I felt my first movement in my ribs the other day! Which is so weird lol. Hoping that is a sign that baby has turned?

Symptoms: Tired, feeling heavy, sore boobs

Cravings: Breakfast cereal, Mexican food, Hersey's cookies and cream candy bars

Baby Buys: Baby Comfy Nose, Nasal Aspirator

Ordered From Babysteals.com
(came with free sample of Hylands cough)

5 Steps to Making Natural Home Made Baby Wipes

What You Need:
  • 1 Roll of Bounty Paper Towel
  • A Sharp Knife (Recommend a saw knife)
  • 1 Tablespoon of Virgin Coconut Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon of Natural Baby Wash of choice
  • 1 Cup of HOT water
  •  A Bowl
  • Container For Wipes
Step 1: Remove the cardboard roll from inside the paper towels and cut the roll in half.

Step 2: Mix the baby wash, coconut oil & HOT water in a bowl. (use hot water to help the coconut oil melt)

Step 3: Pour the mixture into your wipes container.

Step 4: Add paper towels to container, let it sit for a few min so the liquid is absorbed and spread throughout the paper towels

Step 5:  Pull wipes from the center and use :)
